Congratulations to the nearly 70 UC San Diego physicians from 30 specialties who earned a place in San Diego Magazine’s 2008 “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence.” The San Diego County Medical Society annually compiles the list of board-certified physicians within San Diego County who are held in highest regard by their peers. These are the physicians to whom they would entrust the care of their own family members and their own patients. Among these UC San Diego honorees, four have been recognized by their peers in each of the past six years; 10 for five of the past six years and 11 for four of the past six years.
