Employee of the Quarter – Jamie Janis

Jamie Janis

Jamie Janis, Programmer Analyst at Gibbs, was selected by the Power of Excellence Standards of Performance Team as Employee of the Quarter. Jamie’s dedication to recycling has made him a role model. Because there was no recycling program at Gibbs, Jamie took it upon himself to begin and maintain one. He developed a computer spreadsheet that lists several charities to which the proceeds from the program are given. Everyone has an opportunity to make suggestions for other charities and the recipients are listed on a rotating basis. Other employees have been so inspired they even bring recyclables in from home. Jamie has obtained recycling bins which he empties himself every evening, using his personal resources for the sake of keeping our planet green. Congratulations, Jamie, and thank you!
